Lawn Installation: Consists of 3 steps: 1) Ground preparation - includes proper grading of soil away from buildings and removal of any debris that is on the property. 2) Fertilizing and seeding - We apply a starter fertilizer to promote faster germination and healthy root growth. Next we direct seed or lay sod that is well suited for each property. We look at soil type, topography, and amounts of sun and shade to determine the proper seed or sod type. 3) Mulching - On direct seeded lawns straw is shredded to reduce erosion and help retain moisture to ensure even germination. Erosion mats are secured on steep grades as necessary.
